Our board members are the fiduciaries who steer the organization towards a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies, as well as by making sure have adequate resources to advance our mission.
This is the official overview of our board of directors. However, the most important message to share about our leaders is that they have a passion for the foundation and the mission of providing down payment grants to enable families to buy their first home. Living in your own home is a gift that we know everyone should have and we want to make that happen through the REALTORS® Care Foundation.

Tom is an energetic, highly motivated, technically proficient and dedicated professional. He has spent more than 35 years in the architectural design and construction industry as a designer and a general contractor. He is a Real Estate Professional both selling and marketing homes in the Tampa Bay Tri-County Area with creative solutions for the benefit of all his client’s needs. He was the 2012 REALTOR® of the Year and is on the Greater Tampa REALTORS® board currently. He has been a leader in his community and continues to share his leadership skills with the foundation and our board and beneficiaries.

Jay spent sixteen years in the Information Technology industry and the past 15 years as a Real Estate professional. He gained his work ethic from my father who taught him practice makes perfect and always give your best effort. Youth sports taught him to celebrate the team's accomplishments and always show appreciation and respect to your opponents. His personality and generosity comes from his mother and that he shares with his fellow board members for the benefit of the foundation.

As a Florida native, growing up in Tampa, Barbara has watched Tampa grow from a small town to a bustling metropolis of today. The blending of cultures still gives Tampa its unique flavor today. Barbara became a REALTOR in 1986 and is a past President of the Greater Tampa REALTORS® and brings all her cultural knowledge, leadership skills and talents to the foundation to help us grow for the community benefit.

Born and raised in the Philadelphia, PA area, Bob has been married to his wonderful wife of over 50 years. His career spanned Engineering, Manufacturing and Inventory Control Manager serving the water and wastewater industry and as a Software Implementation Consultant. He moved to Florida in 2001 following his wife’s transfer to Tampa for work.
In 2003 he obtained his real estate license and joined Greater Tampa REALTORS. He has since served on many Committees for GTR, Florida REALTORS® and Stellar MLS and the REALTORS® Care Foundation. Bob has enjoyed being a REALTOR® but even more so being able to volunteer time to organizations like GTR, FR, Stellar and most importantly, The REALTORS® Care Foundation.
